Hello, Ms. Fowler,
a co-worker told a story of her father who was a country singer and who sounded very much like the father you described. The woman was named Ruby Roberson. Is she related to you vis aq vis the group of relatives you described in "Affirmation, Etched in Vinyl."(NYTimes)

Please tell me how to sign up for a half day or full day one on one? When are you available, how do I contact you?

Thanks, everyone, for your lovely comments. I have been on the road, teaching and promoting How Clarissa Burden Learned to Fly, so I haven't been checking in as often as I should! It means so much to me that readers take the time to sit down and send me a message. It's very humbling. Victoria, as far as that Borders Clerk goes, perhaps he/she needs better training. My publishers include Random House and Hachette Book Group--you can't get much bigger than that! I'm sorry you had a difficult time finding the book. Where did you finally buy one?

I just finished River of Hidden Dreams - my first book by you.
I'm IN LOVE... I went to Borders and then to Barnes and Nobel to buy all your other books... neither bookseller had any (NOT A ONE) of your books. Borders clerk told me that your publisher is so small that they couldn't order from them as there were not enough books in print to stock all the Borders... Gosh, you are such a top rate writer, I think you might want to consider talking to your publisher. In any event, you have a new fan who'd love to know how to get my hands on your other books..
